Abstract
Innretning, fremgangsmåte og system for tilveiebringelse av en trykkpuls i borefluid i en borestreng i et brønnhullvektrør, slik at det muliggjøres måling under boring. Innretningen og systemet er utført slik at det vil foreligge en primært laminær strømning i området rundt pulsgeneratoren. Den til dereproduserbare og i hovedsaken støyfrie pulser tilordnede fremgangsmåten innbefatter en manipulering av en pulsklokke i en retning oppover og nedover ved hjelp av en kombinasjon av solenoidaktivering av et dobbeltrettet ventillegeme for styring av fluidstrømningen fra trykkreservoaret og til og fra et trykk-glidekammer og tilordnede øvre og nedre strømningsforbindelseskanaler. Pulsen eller ikke-pulsen omformes til et digitalt signal med en trykktransduser og en avkodings-algoritme. Signalet gis til oljefelt- og boreoperatøren som nyttig informasjon, med informasjon om formasjoner som vil kunne bidra til avgjørelser med hensyn til retningsboring. Ekstra pulsgeneratorer kan anordnes i verktøyet slik at det derved kan oppnås større databitrater. Disse større databitratene vil gi en mer omfattende datasamling, med tilhørende mulighet for redusering av borekostnader og mulighet for optimering av oljefeltutbyttene. En større bitrate muliggjør at flere sensorer kan sende ekstra og bedre informasjon uten bruk av vaierlogging i et åpent hull, en prosess som ikke er mulig å gjennomføre når det bores horisontalt.
