Abstract
Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for å styrke et borehull i en eksponert geologisk formasjon, hvilken fremgangsmåte innbefatter: bestemmelse av eller anslag over materialegenskapene av den eksponerte geologiske formasjon; bestemmelse av endringer som er nødvendige i material-egenskapene av den eksponerte geologiske formasjon for å oppnå ønskede forbedringer av den eksponerte geologiske formasjons egenskaper; og behandling av den geologiske formasjon for å forbedre materialegenskapene ved å injisere en blanding som herder in situ under dannelse av en "geosyntetisk kompositt". I henhold til et annet aspekt angår den foreliggende oppfinnelse en apparatur for utførelse av den beskrevne fremgangsmåte med minimal håndtering av kjemikalier, hvilken apparatur utgjøres av en automatisert, rørledningsmontert kjemisk utmålings- og pumpe-apparatur som ikke krever noen stor blandingstank.
