Abstract

En spesifikk prosessering av innformasjonssignalet delt opp i modifikasjonsdeler og signalbærerdeler er muliggjort ved et arrangement for prosessering av et innfortnasjonssignal (14). Arrangementet omfatter en innretning (20) for konvertering av informasjonssignalet (14) til en tids/spektralrepresentasjon ved en blokk for blokk transformasjon av informasjonssignalet, og omfatter en innretning (22) for konvertering av innformasjonssignalet fra tids/spektralrepresentasjonen til en spektral/modulasjonsspektralrepresentasjon. Denne konverteringsinnretning (22) er konstruert på en slik måte at spektral/modulasjons spektralrepresentasjonen er avhengig av både en størrelsesdel så vel som en fasedel av tids/spektralrepresentasjonen av informasjonssignalet (14). En innretning (24, 40) vil så utføre en manipulasjon eller modifikasjon av informasjonssignalet (14) i spektral/modulasjons spektralrepresentasjonen for således å fremskaffe en modifisert spektral/modulasjons spektralrepresentasjon. En annen innretning (26) vil til slutt danne et prosessert informasjonssignal (18) som representerer en prosessert versjon av informasjonssignalet (14) basert på den modifiserte spektral/modulasjonsspektralrepresentasjon.
