Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å utlede et kalibreringsfilter for elektromagnetiske data er gitt. Fremgangsmåten innbefatter å anordne en kilde (21, 22) med elektromagnetisk stråling og etterfulgt å måle komponenter i kildens elektromagnetiske felt (23, 24, 25) i en mottaker når kilden er tilstrekkelig nær til mottakeren slik at nedovergående signaler dominerer over de oppovergående signalene reflektert fra egenskaper under mottakeren. En slik måling kan bli brukt i frekvensdomeneanalyse (26, 28, 29) til å trekke ut nedoversignalkomponenten og utlede et kalibreringsfilter for mottakeren. Fremgangsmåten blir gjentatt (27, 30) for hver mottaker brukt i en elektromagnetisk lydundersøkelse.
