For å tilveiebringe et kabeldreiningshode (8) for et Czochralski-krystalltrekkingsanlegg uten slepekontaktringer, for asimutal og vertikal drift av en trekkabel (7) og en på denne festet kimekrystallholder (6), blir, i samsvar med oppfinnelsen, kabeldreiningshodet (8) båret med en kabelviklingsmekanisme (15) av en vertikal hulaksel (14), gjennom hvilken trekkabelen (7) henger inn i krystalltrekkingsanlegget, kabeldreiningshodet (8) er opplagret dreibart om sin akse og kan beveges i en dreiningsbevegelse av en på krystalltrekkingsanlegget festet rotasjonsmotor (11), sammen med kabelviklingsmekanismen (15) og trekkabelen (7), og denne vertikale hulakslen (14) er koaksialt omgitt av et dobbelttannhjul (16) som er dreibart opplagret overfor hulakslen (14) og som kan drives av en trekkmotor (10) som er festet på krystalltrekkingsanlegget, hvorved dobbelttannhjulet (16) kan drive kabelviklingsmekanismen (15) over et drivverk, slik at den mekaniske driftsenergien fra trekkmotoren (10) som er stedsfast festet på krystalltrekkingsanlegget kan overføres til kabelviklingsmekanismen (15) som roterer i forhold til krystalltrekkingsanlegget.
