Abstract

Ved en fremgangsmåte for å fremstille en isfjernings-/anti-isdannende væske (fluid) oppnås en biproduktstrøm fra en fremgangsmåte som fremstiller monoalkylestere av langkjedede fettsyrer. Strømmen inkluderer vann, glyserol og en alkaliholdig forbindelse. Strømmen omdannes til en isfjernings-/anti-isdannende væske (fluid) ved å tilsette en syre til strømmen for å nøytralisere den alkaliholdige forbindelsen til å fremstille et alkalisalt som virker som et supplerende frysepunktsenkende middel.
