Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en elektrostatisk koaleseringsanordning som omfatter - minst ett par plateformede elektroder (1, 2) anrettet en avstand fra hverandre side ved side, der hver og en av nevnte elektroder (1, 2) omfatter et plateformet ledende legeme av elektrisk ledende materiale, der den innbyrdes avstanden mellom de ledende legemene i de to elektrodene i nevnte par varierer langs elektrodene sett i retning (A2) normalt på den ønskede strømningsretningen (A1) for fluidet som passerer gjennom strømningspassasjen (3) mellom elektrodene; og - spenningsforsyningsmekanisme for å påføre de ledende legemene til elektrodene i nevnte par ulike elektriske potensialer for slik å danne et elektrisk felt mellom elektrodene.
