Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fjernelse av hydrogensulfid og ytterligere surgasskomponenter fra trykksatte, tekniske gasser ved hjelp av et fysikalsk vaskemiddel så vel som utvinnelse av svovel fra hydrogensulfid under anvendelse av et Claus-anlegg, hvor hydrogensulfidet og de ytterligere surgasskomponentene oppløses absorptivt i det fysikalske vaskemiddelet, det fysikalske vaskemiddelet underkastes en flertrinns regenerering, flertrinns regenereringen omfatter minst en anordning til CO-anriking, en anordning til H2S-anriking, en anordning til C02-stripping og en anordning til termisk regenerering, hvor de forskjellige regenereringstrinnene både omfatter innbyrdes forskjellige trykktrinn og også i forhold til absorpsjonen utviser et lavere trykk, en hydrogensulfidrik Clausgass trekkes ut fra et av regenereringstrinnet og føres inn i et Claus-anlegg hvor det frembringes svovel, restgassen som forlater Claus-anlegget hydreres og fortettes til et trykk som tilsvarer et av regenereringstrinnet, og den fortettede restgassen tilføres den anordningen som tjener til CO-anrikingen. Anordningen til CO-anrikning kan utformes som en flashkolonne.
