Abstract

The mixture is flash distilled to obtain a salt-free solution of glycol and hot. Derms are condensed and distilled to obtain glycol with reduced heat content. The salts are concentrated in the vacuum cooker and removed from a partial seed taken out through a reflux circuit to the vacuum cooker.
