Et system, metode og datamaskinprogramprodukt er tilveiebrakt for å aksessere sikkerhet eller irmholdsanalysefimksjonalitet ved å bruke en mobil kommunikasjonsirmretning. Irmbefattet er et operativsystem installert på en mobil kommunikasjonsirmretning i stand til å konmiunisere via et trådløst nettverk. Videre er det tilveiebrakt et applikasjonsprogram installert på den mobile kommunikasjonsirmretningen og som eksekveres ved å utnytte operativsystemet for å utføre oppgaver. Et skanningsundersystem forblir i kommunikasjon med applikasjonsprogrammet via et applikasjonsprogramgrensesnitt. Et slikt skarmingsundersystem er tilpasset for aksessering av sikkerhet eller innholdsanalysefimksjonalitet sammen med oppgaver utført av applikasjonsprogrammet.
