Abstract
Apparat og fremgangsmåte for posisjonering av en krafttildragnings/fraskruingsanordning, ofte henvist til som en "krafltangenhet" langs lengdeaksen hos et rør, med tanke på enden til en kobling. En probe med en elektrisk spole er montert på krafltangen. En vekslende elektrisk sttøm sttømmer gjeimom spolen, og danner et elekfromagnetisk felt som utsfråles fra spolen. Posisjonering av spolen slik at den rørformede koblingen er i magnetfeltet, og deretter bevegelse av spolen slik at koblingsenden beveger seg i det magnetiske feltet tillater koblingsenden å bli sett på som en diskontinuitet, ved prinsippene vedrørende virvelstrømstesting. Plasseringen av koblingsenden anvendes til manuell posisjonering av tangen, eller gis inn til en prosessor og deretter til en kraflposisjonerer, som posisjonerer krafttangen med tanke på koblingsenden på en skikkelig måte.
