Abstract
2005-11-15 S a m m e n d r a g Det beskrives generelt transformerte planteceller og planter som omfatter et inaktivert eller nedregulert gen som resulterer i økt toleranse og/eller motstandsdyktighet mot miljøbetinget stress sammenlignet med utransformerte villtypeceller og fremgangsmåter for fremstilling av slike planteceller eller planter. Videre beskrives transformerte planteceller med endret metabolsk aktivitet sammenlignet med en tilsvarende utransformert plantecelle av villtype, hvor den metabolske aktivitet er endret ved et inaktivert eller nedregulert gen og resulterer i økt toleranse og/eller motstandsdyktighet mot miljøbetinget stress sammenlignet med en tilsvarende utransformert plantecelle av villtype, fremgangsmåter for fremstilling, screening med henblikk på og oppformering av slike planteceller eller planter, og en fremgangsmåte for å påvise stress i planteceller eller planter.
