Abstract
Håndholdt apparat for å bestemme relativ og/eller absolutt aksialposisjon av en rørledningsende i en fluidkopling, omfatter tilførsel av ultiasonisk energi i form av transient!] ærbølger og analysering av reflektert energi. Anvendelse av inngående energi oppsamlet ved forskjellige radiale posisjoner rundt et første aksialsted, brukes med små bølgebaserte korreleringsteknikker for bedre å analysere de reflekterte energisignaler.
