Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for komprimert overføring av bildedata for en tredimensjonal fremvisning av scener og objekter. En kjent fremgangsmåte for overføring av videodata mellom en sender og en mottaker ved hjelp av prioritert pikseloverføring kan på fordelaktig måte anvendes for overføring og bearbeidelse av tredimensjonale objekter og scener, respektivt de tilhørende tilleggsdata, idet hver scene/hvert objekt tas opp fra minst to perspektiver, hvorved dataene for et perspektiv tilordnes til en egentlig bilderekke og de ytterligere data for minst ett andre perspektiv tilordnes til et forskyvningsområde i bilderekken. I den egentlige bilderekken overføres et høyere antall pikselgrupper enn i forskyvningsområdet, hvorved pikslene i de manglende pikselgrupper i forskyvningsområdet beregnes av de allerede overførte pikselgrupper fra bilderekken.
