Abstract
Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for tolkning av flerdimensjonale kjernemagnetiske resonansdata tatt fra en prøve av en jordformasjon. Nærmere bestemt tas et sett av NMR-data opp for en fluidprøve som befinner seg enten i et borehull eller i en laboratorieomgivelse. Ut i fra dette sett av NMR-data beregnes en flerdimensjonal fordeling ved bruk av en matematisk inversjon som er uavhengig av tidligere kjennskap til fluidprøvens egenskaper. Den flerdimensjonale fordeling blir grafisk fremvist på et flerdimensjonalt kart. Hver fluidanvisning eller tegndannelse som er synlig på den grafiske fremstilling, identifiseres som uttrykk for et sannsynlig nærvær av et detektert fluid. En eller flere kvantitative formasjonsevalueringssvar for en eller flere fluidanvisninger beregnes på basis av den flerdimensjonale fordeling som har sammenheng med vedkommende fluidanvisning.
