Abstract
Oppfinnelsen gjelder en metode og en strømningsmåler for måling av komposisjon og strømningsrate til en blanding bestående av for eksempel olje, vann og gass i et rør. Metoden kjennetegnes ved at elektriske taps- og fasemålinger utføres i minst to retninger i røret, at graden av annulær strømning (gasskonsentrasjon i midten av røret) beregnes basert på nevnte målinger, at permittiviteten av flerfaseblandingen beregnes basert på nevnte målinger og korrigeres for graden av annulær strømning, at blandingens tetthet måles og kompenseres for graden av annulær strømning, at hastigheten til væske og gass måles og at temperatur og trykk måles. Basert på kjennskap til tetthet og permittivitet til blandingens komponenter og resultatet av de foran nevnte beregninger og målinger, beregnes volum- og massestrømningsratene av olje, vann og gass i røret.
