Abstract

For å installere et modulært utvinnings- system (1) på sjøbunnen senkes først en fundamentsøyle (3) ned og drives inn, deretter senkes en dokkenhet (4) mot det fundament søylen danner, slik at et klemskjøtearrangement (6) på dokkenheten kommer til å flukte med en rørstuss (5) på fundamentet. Arrangementet sørger for omklemming av rørstussen slik at dokkenheten (4) blir fundamentert til søylen (3). Samleledninger (2) og en sterkstrømsplugg (18) er koplet til dokkenheten. En første opptakbar og i alt vesentlig autonom modul (8) senkes ned og koples til dokkenheten via en flerhulls kopling (10, 11), hvoretter pluggen (18) på dokkenheten føres til inngrep med en tilsvarende sokkel (17) på modulen. Stengeventiler (14, 16) i dokkenheten og modulen åpnes slik at sistnevnte kan håndtere fluid som mottas fra samleledningene (2) via koplingen (10,11). En andre tilsvarende modul (9) er også koplet til dokkenheten (4) på tilsvarende måte.
