Abstract

Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for flytendegjøring og denitrogenering av naturgass, et system for gjennomføring av fremgangsmåten samt de gasser som oppnås ved separeringen. Det beskrives således en fremgangsmåte for flytendegj øring og denitrogenering av naturgass (1) inneholdende nitrogen, der naturgassen (1) avkjøles, gjøres flytende og separeres i en første toppfraksjon (9) som er relativt mer flyktig og anriket på nitrogen, og en første bunnfraksjon (15). Ved fremgangsmåten blir den første toppfraksjonen (9) avkjølt og gjort flytende, separert i en andre toppfraksjon (11) som er relativt mer flyktig og som gir gassformig nitrogen (29), og en andre bunnfraksjon (12) som behandles på ny, og karakteriseres videre ved at den første bunnfraksjon (15) avkjøles for å gi flytendegjort naturgass som i det vesentlige er fri for nitrogen (24). Det beskrives andre utførelsesformer av fremgangsmåten.
