Abstract
Oppfinnelsen gjelder en kabel (10) med en langstrakt kjerne (20) utført i et første dielektrisk materiale samt med en ytre kjerneoverflate (25), og flere langstrakte ledende elementer (30) anordnet omkring den langstrakte kjerne (20). Disse langstrakte ledende elementer (30) har en indre leder (40) som er omgitt av et isolerende lag (50) utført i et andre dielektrisk materiale. Den ytre overflate av det isolerende lag (50) er oppdelt i et første overflateområde (60) og et andre overflateområde (70), idet det første ytre overflateområde (60) er festet, f.eks. ved sintring, til kjernens ytre overflate (25). Første og andre dielektrisk materiale er fortrinnsvis ekspandert PTFE. Denne kabel (10) finner anvendelse i en streamer (100) for bruk ved seismografiske undersøkelser av områder under havbunnen.
