En komponentmapper (22) tilveiebringes i forbindelse med en prosess (figur 2) der en fluidstrøm med flere fysike komponenter modelleres som et antall pseudokomponenter (401,402). Hver pseudokomponent i modellen har en varierende predefinert egenskap og en varierende mengde.
