Abstract

Un método de mapeo para ser utilizado en un proceso de optimizacion en tiempo real relacionado con una operacion de refinería en el cual una corrientefluida que tiene multiples componentes físicos es modelada (es decir, representada) como unaplurali dad de pseudo-componentes, teniendo cada componente físicoun punto de ebullicion, teniendo cada pseudo-componente un punto de ebullicion pre-definido e incluyendo todos los componentes físicos de la corriente fluidaque tienen aproximadamenteel punto de ebullicion pre-definido, teniendo cada pseudo-componente del modelo de la corriente fluida una propiedad pre-definidavariable y una cantidad variable, estando el método caracterizado por las etapas de: definir para cada pseudo-componentedel mode lo de corriente fluida, unapluralidad de sub-pseudo-componentes de manera que el pseudo componente es reemplazable por la pluralidad de sub-pseudo -componentes, teniendo cada sub-pseudo-componente un valor pre-definido para la propiedad pre- definida y una cantidad variable; obtener, para cada sub-pseudo-componente, un valor actual de lapropiedad pre-definida y una cantidad actual del pseudo-componente; calcular para cada pseudo-componente, una cantidad actual para cada pseudo-componente delsub-c omponente; y utilizar el valor pre-definido de la propiedad pre-definida y el valor actual calculado para cada sub-pseudo-componente de cada pseudo-componente en un proceso de optimizacion en tiempo real. La invencion tambiénprovee una computadora p ara ser usada en dicho método.
