Abstract

Det er gitt en elektronisk etikett (10) inneholdende magne- tiske sensorer (18) som kan registrere endringer i magne- tiske felt for å kunne programmere etiketten (10). Vanlig- vis inneholder etiketten (10) mikroprosessorbaserte kretser (14) med hukommelse (20), disse mikroprosessorbaserte kret- sene (14) gir programmerbar respons på aktivering av de magnetiske sensorene (18). Etiketten (10) inneholder videre senderutstyr (12) koblet til de mikroprosessorbaserte kret- sene (14) og opererer spesielt for å sende data fra de mik- roprosessorbaserte kretsene (14). Følgelig kan de mikropro- sessorbaserte kretsene (14) inkludere en mikrokontroller som har en av sine inngangsporter forbundet til kontakten på den magnetiske sensoren (18), typisk en tungebryter (reed switch) eller lignende for å kunne mate data inn i mikrokontrolleren. Som svar på aktivering av tungebryteren, kan mikrokontrolleren gå i programmerbart modus, overvåk- ningsmodus eller tilsvarende.
