Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for datasending og et radiosystem. Spesielt angår oppfinnelsen en fremgangsmåte og et system hvor både GMSK- modulasjonsmetoden og m-PSK-modulasjonsmetoden er tilgjengelige for signalet som skal sendes, og hvor den modulasjonsmetode som benyttes på et gitt tids- punkt, kan forandres til en annen modulasjonsmetode. l løsningen ifølge oppfin- nelsen omfatter senderens m-PSK-modulator en multipliserer (602) innrettet for å multiplisere signalet som skal sendes, med en gitt koeffisient som gjør det mot- tatte signalets signal-konstellasjoner like, uansett modulasjonsmetode. Behandlin- gen av signalet i mottakeren blir således enklere, og kvaliteten av overføringen forbedres i forbindelse med m-PSK-modulasjonen.
