Description
(Patent nr. 133.740). The present invention relates to a further developed modification of an apparatus which appears in the patent applicant's Norwegian application no. 4238/71. (Patent No. 133,740).
In the case of the device according to this application, the retrieval hook means in question is supported on an angularly shaped, horizontally supported arm which, during use of the device, describes a reciprocating movement for retrieving and retaining the carrier bags.
In practice, this solution has been shown to present the* limitation that the carrying bag must be removed in one side direction of the device, the other side direction being closed by the angular arm. Furthermore, the construction requires a relatively heavy and rigid structure in order for the parts to provide sufficient shock and function-safe movements.
The apparatus according to the present invention is thus of the type where the individual carrying bag is taken from a bag magazine with carrying means that extend through the bag's handle openings or possibly through special carrying holes, which apparatus is of the type that includes grasping or hooking means moving back and forth, and the appatate according to the present invention is characterized by the fact that the hook members are mounted at the upper end on an upright swing arm which is pivotable in a manner known per se about a horizontal axis at the bottom of the device and by the fact that the swing arm is forcibly controlled in its movements in the direction to and from the bag magazine by the swing arm at the bottom part of the device just above the swing axis is arranged with a motor device connected to the device, such as a compressed air cylinder, magnetic motor or similar,
og ved at krokorganenes vertikalbevegelse er sammenkoplet og synkronisert med svingarmens bevegelser. and in that the vertical movement of the hook members is linked and synchronized with the movements of the swing arm.
Such a construction has been shown to lead to a simplification of the device's structure, and the construction also provides better functioning. A further advantage is that the free space for retaining the bag is open to both sides, so that the carrier bag can be removed from the device either to one or the other side as desired.
Svingarmens bevegelser styres automatisk ved hjelp av The movements of the swing arm are controlled automatically using
en fotocelleinnretning som er montert i rommet hvor den enkelte bærepose blir holdt i åpen stilling. a photocell device that is mounted in the room where the individual carrier bag is kept in the open position.
A further feature of the invention is that the swinging movements of the pick-up hook member are effected by means of a spring pawl device which is in turn controlled by the movements of the swing arm.
Oppfinnelsen illustreres på vedlagte tegning, hvor: The invention is illustrated in the attached drawing, where:
Fig. 1 shows a schematic side view of the invention, and Fig. 2 shows a floor plan of the apparatus shown in fig. 1. Fig. 3 shows a detail of a side view similar to fig. 1, as the swing arm holds a carrier bag in an extended position in the device.
1, the number 100 denotes the supporting stand itself, which consists of a bottom part 102, as well as an upwardly directed housing part 104, which contains a bag magazine 106 which, in the embodiment shown, includes an inclined upwardly directed support rail 108 for a bag supply 110, which is held compressed by of spring members 112 which push the supply upwards to abut against an upper hook member 114 at the top of the carrier rail. In the device's bottom part 102, an upwardly directed pivoting arm 116 is pivotally supported, which is supported on a horizontal axis 120. The pivoting arm can be forward-
og tilbakegående svingebevegelser ved hjelp av en innkoplet motorinnretning 122, eksempelvis en elektrisk lineærmotor, trykkluftsylinder eller liknende, og som igjen kan styres av en foto-celle med et lyspunkt 124 som er montert i posefastholdnings-rommet og som igjen styres av et refleksorgan 126, montert på svingarmen 116. and backward swinging movements by means of a connected motor device 122, for example an electric linear motor, compressed air cylinder or the like, and which in turn can be controlled by a photo cell with a light point 124 which is mounted in the bag holding space and which in turn is controlled by a reflector 126, mounted on the swing arm 116.
At the top of the swing arm, the pick-up hook member 130 is mounted on a horizontal axle pin 128 which, as best shown in fig. 2, consists of two spaced apart pick-up hooks 132 and 134, which are connected by means of a rod 136, which at the same time serves as storage for a downwardly directed control rod 138 which
Svingarmen 140 at the bottom, the joint of a swing arm 140 is supported on the swing arm on a pivot 142. At the other end of the swing arm, a roller 144 is mounted which rests against a cam plate 146. The swing arm 140
er nedover fjærbelastet ved hjelp av en fjær 148 som er festet på svingarmen. is downwardly spring-loaded by means of a spring 148 which is attached to the swing arm.
I det øyeblikk krokorganene er ført gjennom utsparingene i poseflanken faller hjulet 144 utenfor kanten 145 When the swing arm 116 is moved to the left, the roller 144 rolls up the plate 146, so that the hook members are pulled downwards against the spring force 148. The moment the hook members are guided through the recesses in the bag flank, the wheel 144 falls outside the edge 145
Ved returbevegelsen går rullen 144 på undersiden av platen 146. on the plate 146, with the result that the hook members 132 and 134 strike upwards and lift the bag flank off the hooks 114. During the return movement, the roller 144 runs on the underside of the plate 146.
In this embodiment of the invention, the bag magazine comprises the upwardly directed support rail 108 with two rods 152 and 154, which at the upper end are previously arranged with protruding hook members 114. The bag store 110 thus carries the bags in the shown upwardly inclined position, as the rods 152 and 154 extend through the carrying bags' handle openings 156,157. The outermost bag hangs on the hook members 114. With the inclined bag magazine, two advantages are achieved. Firstly, space is saved in the side direction of the device and in the upward direction, so that more space is made for the roller conveyor to be arranged in the operating desk. Furthermore, there is room for more bags in the magazine as the top, usually reinforced part of the carrier bags is placed in a mutually offset position. A further advantage of this embodiment of the magazine lies in the fact that the retrieval device has a more secure abutment against the outermost bag flank or the recesses therein, in that the inner bag flanks are not flush, but in a laterally offset position so that the carrying handle openings and the special recesses in the bags for the pick-up hook members do not lie in a straight line flush behind each other and reduce the impact effect of the pick-up hook member.
The device shown in the figures works in principle in a completely analogous way to the device according to the main patent, but this device exhibits the previously mentioned advantages, namely i.a. that the device can be made completely open on both sides 158 and 159, and the construction otherwise enables a more compact structure and a more stable gait.
In fig. 2 illustrates the situation where a carrier bag 160 has just been picked up by the pick-up hook members 132 and 134 by forward swing of the swing arms 116 which are in their return movement. As shown, the rearmost bag flank hangs through the carrying handle on the magazine's rods 152 and 154 to abut against the hook 114, while the outermost bag flank hangs on the hook members 132 through separate openings 166 and 167 in this bag flank.
3. In fig. 3 illustrates in detail the situation when the bag is held in the unfolded position. The swing arm 116 is then swung back to the position shown with dashed lines 162 in fig. 2, and the outermost bag flank hangs on the pick-up hook members 132 and 134 through the openings 166 and 167, made in the outermost bag flank, but thus not in the other, innermost bag flank of each bag. When the customer has filled the goods in the bag and lifted the bag out of the device, appropriately by the customer first grabbing the outermost, free-hanging carrying handle 157 and then grabbing the other bag handle, after which the bag can be lifted to one of the sides or straight up. At this moment, the photocell elements 124 and 126 will cause the motor 122 to be started with the effect that a new bag is automatically retrieved from the magazine and again held in the position illustrated in fig. 3.
