Description
Beisningsbad for aluminium.
Nærværende oppfinnelse vedrorer beisningsbad for aluminium, fortrinnsvis for anvendelse i anlegg for elektrolytisk belegning av aluminiumslegemer. Det er vanskelig å beise aluminiumlege-mer, slik at den for éri étterfolgehde elektrolytisk belegning nodvendige grad av ovéirflaterenhet oppnås. Dette béiror forst og fremst på den beskyttende oksydhinne som aluminium omgir seg med. Déh er riktignok ilcke særlig tykk, men utgjor allike-vel et problem på grunn av déh hastighet med hvilken den gjen-dannes. Eit spesielt problem er det silisium sorti forekommer i aluminiumet, seni legeringssmhé i éri dei tilfeller og som foru-rensning i andre tilfeller. Etter beisning i vanlige bad av såvel base- som syrétypé finnes det ofte tilbake små partier av siliciumholdige overflatefilmer som reduserer vedheftning for et i en etterfolgende elektrolytisk prosess pålagt ovear-flateskikt. For å få bort disse siliciumholdige overflatefilmer må man gripe til sterke syrebad, i hvilke fluss-syre inn-går. Slike beisningsbad har imidlertid den ulempe at man ofte oppnår en meget ujevn og unodvendig sterk etsing av ikke-siliciumholdige overflatepartier. En ytterligere ulempe er at fluss-syren er meget skadelig og lett fremkaller sykdomstil-stander hos dem som arbeider med den, hvorfor rigorose sikker-hetsforanstaltninger må fremskaffes.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse har til formål å tilveiebringe et hurtig arbeidende beisningsbad med stor rengjoringseffekt i kombinasjon med lav giftighetsgrad, som gjor det lett å ar-beide med badet. Dette oppnås ifolge oppfinnelsen ved at badet består av 20 - 35 volum% 35 %'s saltsyre, 5-13 volum% 85 %'s ortofosforsyre og resten vann,og har en arbeidstemperatur mellom 50° og 70°C.
Et meget hurtig og jevnt arbeidende beisningsbad som gir tette og jevne overflateskikt ved en etterfolgende elektrolytisk pålegning av et annet metall på i dette beisete aluminiumslegemer oppnås hvis badet inneholder ca. 30 volum% saltsyre og ca. 10 volum% ortofosforsyre og har en arbeidstemperatur på ca. 60°C.
Et slikt bad egner seg utmerket godt for maskiner bestemt
for kontinuerlig elektrolytisk belegning av aluminiumtråd og' muliggjor anvendelsen av hoy belegningshastighet. Beisningsbad ifolge oppfinnelsen tillater også på grunn av sin rela-tivt lave giftighetsgrad enklere maskinkonstruksjoner, hvor-ved driften kan gjores sikrere.
Claims (2)
1. Beisningsbad for aluminium, karakterisert ved at det består av 20 - 35 volum% 35%'s saltsyre, 5-13 volum% 85%'s ortofosforsyre og resten vann,
o o og har en arbeidstemperatur mellom 50 og 70 C.
2. Beisningsbad etter krav 1, karakterisert ved at det består av 30 volum% 35%'s saltsyre, og 10 volum% 85 %'s ortofosforsyre og resten vann, og har en arbeidstemperatur på 60°C.
