Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a coated layer having a strong adhesive force by a method wherein an Al cast product is formed of an Al material having a specified component, while the cast product is etched using a specified method, then flourine resin is coated thereon.
CONSTITUTION: A cast product is formed of an Al material having a 94% of more of Al purity and 4% of less of Si content. The Al cast product is subjected either to electrolytic etching in an aqueous halide solution or to a chemical etching process, so that coarse surface of 8μ or more is provided. To said surface, a fluorine resin coating is applied. Preferable pretreatment prior to the above etching includes mechanical machining and polishing, or chemical degreasing and polishing, so as to remove deposited impurities and ununiform structure from the surface. By applying an anodizing process after etching and then coating fluorine resin, the resistances to corrosion and abrasion may be further enhanced.
