Oppfinnelsen vedrører en bremseanordning for bremsing av spolehjul ved båndopptagere o. 1. The invention relates to a braking device for braking reel wheels in tape recorders etc. 1.
For båndopptagere er det av betydning at spolehj ulene umiddelbart stanser ved frakobling av drivanordning. Det hjul fra hvilket båndet avvikles bør da bremses noe kraftigere enn det på hvilket båndet oppvikles, da det ellers vil foreligge risiko for at større lengder av båndet avvikles fra det førstnevnte hjul enn hva som oppvikles på det sistnevnte. Konstruktivt sett er det enklest å anordne det slik at bare det førstnevnte hjul bremses og det annet hjul stoppes ved en resulterende strekk-spenning i båndet. Derved må oppbremsin-gen av hjulet ikke være for kraftig da båndet ellers kan slites av ved for kraftig strekk. En passende bremseanordning bør altså gi en bremsekraft som ligger nær en på forhånd fastsatt verdi uten at denne verdi overskrides, dvs. en må arbeide med meget smale grenser for bremsekraften. For tape recorders, it is important that the reel wheels stop immediately when the drive device is disconnected. The wheel from which the tape is unwound should then be braked somewhat more strongly than the one on which the tape is wound, as otherwise there will be a risk of larger lengths of tape being unwound from the former wheel than what is wound on the latter. From a constructive point of view, it is easiest to arrange it so that only the first-mentioned wheel is braked and the second wheel is stopped by a resulting tensile stress in the belt. Thereby, the braking of the wheel must not be too strong, otherwise the belt can wear off due to excessive tension. A suitable braking device should therefore provide a braking force that is close to a predetermined value without exceeding this value, i.e. one must work with very narrow limits for the braking force.

When displacing the support 11 in the direction towards the center of the brake drum, the angle arm is swung so that the leaf spring touches the brake drum. If the brake drum rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow in fig. 1, the angle arm stops in this position as the spring force from the spring 8 is offset by the weak frictional force from the plant against the drum, whereby only a very weak braking of the drum is provided. If, on the other hand, the drum rotates in the opposite direction, due to the friction between the drum and the leaf spring, the arm swings further so that the spring is pressed harder against the drum and thereby also rests with a larger surface on the periphery of the drum, which results in stronger braking. The size of the swing of the arm depends to a certain extent on the rotation speed of the drum, but the swing is limited by the projection 11 in its offset position towards the center of the drum, so that the braking force cannot exceed a predetermined value.
