De uitvinding betreft een inrichting welke bestemd is om uit koolzuursneeuw cryogene deeltjes te persen welke geschikt zijn voor het reinigen van oppervlakken door middel van stralen. De inrichting is van het type waarbij in het inwendige van een ringvormige matrijs walsrollen wentelen en de koolzuursneeuw door matrijskanalen persen.The invention relates to a device intended for pressing cryogenic particles from carbon dioxide snow, which are suitable for cleaning surfaces by means of blasting. Dergelijke inrichtingen zijn bekend uit de lederlandse aanvraag ÏL-A-9002605. Dit type inrichting produceert driehoekige staafjes droogijs. In de praktijk is gebleken dat de matrijsconfiguratie tot verstopping van de perskanalen leidt en dat de walsrollen gaan slippen of geblokkeerd raken. In Fig.1 is met (1) de matrijsring aangegeven. Deze is in een <niet getekende) machineframe gemonteerd. In deze matrijsring <1) bevinden zich twee walsrollen (2) welke langs het binnenoppervlak van de matrijsring <1> rollen. De walsrollen (2) zijn voorzien van een onwrikbaar bevestigde tandkrans (3) welke in ingrijping zijn met een tandring <4> welke aan de matrijsring gemonteerd is. De walsrollen (2) worden gedwongen te roteren, hierdoor ls slippen voorkomen. In het kader van de uitvinding ligt besloten dat gekozen kan worden voor een combinatie van steekcirkeldianeters waarmee de walsrollen versneld, vertraagd of met gelijke snelheid langs het binnenoppervlak kunnen worden gedreven.In Fig.1 the (1) indicates the die ring.
