De uitvinding "betreft het sluiten van bijvoorbeeld vuilniszakken, door middel van een ring.
Deze ring kan in verschillende diameters vervaardigd worden, in kunststof of metaal· 5 De vorm is taps-toelopend* De bovenzij'de heeft een schuine rand (zie tekening), waardoor na het aanbrengen, terugschuiven wordt voorkomen·
De ring is zeer eenvoudig aan te brengen om de kunststofzak· Eenmaal aangebracht, kan deze ring niet lossohieten. Dit in tegenstelling 10 tot andere sluitingsystemen voor kunststofzakken, zoals bijvoorbeeld bindbandjes of plakband.
