Abstract

The bicycle stand is lockable to prevent theft, and comprises a foot (3), from which a single beam (4) extends upwards. At the free end of the beam is a U-shaped grip (9), inclined to the horizontal so as to accommodate the inclined frame tube (2) of the bicycle, while holes in the grip flanges accommodate a padlock. The grip can be fixed to the top face of the beam, or to one of its sides, and can be lined with non-scratching material such as plastics so as not to damage the frame paintwork.
