Abstract

The ventilation cartridge is for use in a stylographic pen, and comprises a sleeve-type casing with an opening at each end, together with a buffer unit storing the ink delivered into it. At the top it can have a coupling portion (14) to which an ink cartridge is fixed (44), forming a leakproof joint, and with a passage in which a pen ink-injection tube slides, also leakproof, forming a capillary ink buffer passage. The pen nib can be fixed to the bottom.

In the Dutch Patent Application No. Applicant 79Q4QG1 shows a cartridge for insertion into a stylographic pen. This cartridge consists of an upper part, which forms the ink reservoir and a lower part, in which at least the buffer system for ink propelled from this reservoir is incorporated.

It is therefore possible that the two parts are supplied separately packaged and even the ink reservoir need not contain any ink, so that the consumer fills it with ink himself.

The cartridge construction according to the invention is now suitable for making money.

Figure 1 is a longitudinal section of the cartridge according to the invention.

Figure 1 shows the ventilation cartridge 10. This consists mainly of the cartridge sleeve 12, the top coupling piece 14, the bottom coupling piece 15 and the buffer unit 18.

This buffer unit consists of the outer buffer 20 with the high-capillary ink buffer channels 22 and the lower-capillary ink / ventilation channels 24 and the inner buffer 25 with the high-capillary ink buffer-20 channels 28 included therein, see also the Figure 2.

The imaginary injection tube 30 of the stylographic pin is slidable in the shaft 32 of this inner buffer 26 until its tip portion 34 is leak-tightly inserted into the bar connector 14. The imaginary pin pin 36 of the pin is also clamped or screwed in the lower coupling piece 16 in a leak-tight manner.

Immediately above this lower coupling piece 16 and below the buffer unit 18 is the central capillary channel 38, which in the mounted condition of the cartridge extends further capillary to the opening 40, 9, 4.5, 7.

Claims (11)

15 CONCLUSIONS Ventilation cartridge for accommodating it in a stylographic pen, characterized in that it consists at least of a sleeve-shaped casing with an opening at each end and an ink buffer unit for collecting ink stuck in this cartridge . 2. Cartridge according to Claim 1, characterized in that at the top end thereof a coupling part is arranged such that an ink cartridge can thereby be attached to this cartridge. 3. Cartridge according to Claim 2, characterized in that this coupling part is such a coupling piece that the cartridge for the ink can be secured in a leak-tight manner and the passage incorporated therein is such that an injection housing part of the stylographic pen can be slid leak-proof. 4. According to Claim 3, the feature is that the lower end thereof is designed in such a way that the connection with the pennib of the stylistic pen can be effected therewith. Cartridge according to Claim 4, characterized in that the buffer unit has a longitudinal passage such that the injection tube of the stylographic pen is permeable therein, forming at least one capillary ink buffer channel. Cartridge according to Claim 5, characterized in that the buffer units comprise a large number of capillary channels which extend in the longitudinal direction of the cartridge.
