Abstract

The mechanism extracts portions of fodder from a silo, having a frame mounted on a tractor and equipped with a fork, above which is a cutter mechanism with a bandsaw oscillating in a horizontal plane, so as to remove the fodder in a complete packet. The bandsaw (16) is guided in a frame (15) below which it protrudes, and which tapers towards the rear and is movable up and down in the main frame (1). The guide frame (15) can form a tapering quadrilateral, and the bandsaw teeth can be ground in an undulating shape.
