Abstract

The intermediate plate is for use with a stack of packages, being made from a rectangular blank. It comprises an intermediate portion (1) remaining flat, and to which there are joined edge sections (4, 5, 4', 5') by means of fold lines (2, 3, 2', 3') at right angles to each other. These sections form with a corner-piece (6) between them a closed outer edge for the sheet. The corner-piece is joined to one of the sections (5) by a fold line (7) extending that (2) joining the other section (4) to the intermediate portion, and to this other section by a further fold line (8) at 45 deg. to the others in the sheet. Furthermore a portion (9) is cut out between the corner-piece and the first section (5), and also between the intermediate portion and the second section (4). Thus in the erected state the two edge sections and the corner-piece are at right angles to the main part.
