Abstract

Storage rack comprises U-profile uprights (9, 11), connectors which joint the uprights in pairs, and their facing open sides to support beams (2, 3). Tensioners (7, 8) are provided to give rigidity between two successive support beams. The uprights have vertical grooves in side flanges extending to strip shaped bearers which have a lip with a recess at each end. The support plates (4, 6) for the goods to be stored have rectangular cut-outs at their four corners to take the half cross-section of an upright. The plate four sides have downwards directed edges, and in the assembled state the plate front edge accurately connects to the outside of the plate of the uprights.
