Abstract

The mounting secures the cutting teeth of a material extraction tool, partic. an excavator, dredger, etc. The cutter head has a conical support for each tooth, fitting inside a mating recess in the tooth and locked together in the axial direction. The locking device comprises a ring (10) of elastic material fitting in a groove (9) in the conical face (3) of the support (2) and protruding beyond this face. The inner surface of the tooth (1) has a peripheral recess with one or more shoulders (8) extending inwards and engaging under the ring, the internal diameter of the shoulder being less than the external diameter of the ring.
