Abstract

The raw animal fodder dispensing machine is for silage, dried grass etc, having a frame in which a supporting chassis with a drive mechanism and accommodating a block of raw fodder and a metering mechanism with drive delivering from the block to the feeding position are accommodated. The chassis and the mechanism move in relation to each other in the frame. The metering mechanism (11) is mounted above the chassis (5), and has a frame with driving lugs (13), transporting the fodder from the top of the block to one side of the chassis and there discharging it. The metering mechanism can have a beam with tines and rods hinging at each end. The other ends of the rods travel in a closed curve, so as to discharge fodder in metered quantities.
