Abstract

The system automatically dispenses flexible sheets from different stacks and moves them into the desired position. The sheets are picked off from stacks arranged on tables one above the other, the tables being moved up or down to bring them in contact with sets of extraction members between or above them, and after the sheets have been gripped the tables are moved apart so as to separate the sheets from the stacks underneath them. Supports are then inserted between each sheet and the stack underneath it, after which the sheet is released so as to fall on the support, which is then moved horizontally into the desired position.
