Abstract

The hand-operated pipe-bending tool comprises a pair of levers hinging together, the hinge pin being fixed to the first. Coaxial to the pin is a segment forming the inner face against which the pipe to be bent bears, and with a slot running along its curved periphery. Near one end of the latter is a first external pipe support. The second lever has a two-armed fork accommodating the hinge pin, and has coupled to it a second external pipe support. One of the fork arms (15) is extended beyond the other (14), having at the free end of the extended portion (15a) the second external support (17). The extended portion is curved away from the direction of pivoting when carrying out the bending operation. The second external support is at a distance from the hinge pin (4) equal at least to the sum of the pipe diameter and the radius of the segment (5).
