Abstract

Pallet is intended for carrying containers, partic. partially open boxes or cases, whose contents have to be subjected to a conditioning process. Adjacent to at least one of the lateral support beams, at the point where this beam is recessed to receive the fork (6) of a lift truck, a strip-shaped sealing element (5) is provided which may close the recess, the element returning to its closed position by resilience when the fork is removed. The upper (1) and/or lower surface (4) of the pallet may be provided with perforations (2). The element may be resilient S-section strip secured under the upper surface.
