Abstract

A transfer system allows information entered into a bubble domain memory to be transferred onto magnetic tape. The video information is entered over an isolating stage (5) and an encoder (C) controlling a generator (G) coupled to the shift register bubble domain memory contained in a plate (1). The serially generated information is converted in this way to parallel form. A number of memories may be stacked side-by-side to provides storage of input words. When the registers are full it is required to execute a transfer of the contents onto magnetic tape (4), by generating the correct field strength using a pulse generator (P) coupled to a common connecting line (7).
