Abstract

The textile piece goods and the coated paper are transferred in the vapour phase from the paper to the textile. The paper and the textile are each supported by an endless belt and these follow paths which converge and run together for a short distance in a straight line; the colours being transferred as the bands move through the heating zone under pressure. An installation costing no more, but giving much more scope for adjusting the conditions under which the colours are transferred, and increasing the throughput speed is provided.
