Abstract

The clasp is of the type having two sides (1) with two or more bridge pieces (2-5) extending between them around or upon which bridge pieces a flexible belt can be secured or locked. At least one bridge piece (3) acts in conjunction with a belt clamping lever (9) pivotably (10) arranged between the sides, the clamping end (8) of this lever dis-engaged from this bridge piece (3) by pressing down the opposite end (9a) against the action of a spring (11). The spring consists of a sprung tongue element on the lever, which element is pre-tensioned by engaging an auxiliary bridge piece (5). The tongue may be integral with the lever. The pivots (10) may be integral with the lever. The lever may be in plastic, particularly a polyamide. The clasp and bridge pieces may be formed as an integral injection moulding.
