Abstract

An electric blanket, cushion or similar article comprising two sheets of textile material with a heating conductor arranged between them, is produced by sprinkling each layer of textile on one surface with a powdered synthetic resin pref. a polyamide which is then heated to a temperature above its melting point. The conductor is placed between the two layers of fabric and these are bonded together. A quick mode of production using the minimum of materials.
