Abstract

The window frame extension member consists of a double armed hinged unit between a fixed frame(7) and a movable frame(6). The arm(1) connected to the fixed hinge has two holes(11, 11a) each of which may be fitted to a restraining peg(10) attached to a support device(12) which includes a forked clamp(9) which fits between the central arm(1) and other arms(2). The latter are held at the movable frame end by a pivot which connects them with a bracket(5) which is screwed, or otherwise attached, to the movable frame(6). The two arms units(1, 2) are connected together at the ends away from the frames by a common pivoted joint.
