Abstract
The holder has a U-shaped stirup, one of whose supporting arms has an extended portion, and a supporting component of adjustable length, with a securing portion bent at right angles so as to hang on a balustrade. The arm has an internally-threaded sleeve accommodating the externally-threaded portion of the supporting component, thus allowing this to be adjusted in it. The supporting component can have an externally-threaded tube section, with the securing portion formed at one end of it.
