Abstract

The stencil allows a coloured pattern to be sprayed onto a surface such as a wall, and comprises a sheet of flat material with the desired pattern cut out of the centre. The material used to some degree absorbs the paint, while on the side to be placed against the surface to be painted it is coated with a layer of material which does not do so. The material used can be corrugated cardboard, with fold lines so that it can be formed into a box open at one side, the pattern being cut out of the base.
