Abstract

The stresses between the supporting partition walss are reduced by the use of three or more steel supporting columns. The cross-beams joining the columns and the wall can also serve as floor and roof supports, and the floors can be mounted at different heights. the supporting framework can be separate from the non-supporting movable internal partition walss. The design allows system building with consequent economy, although a wide variation of individual houses is possible, together with an architecturally attractive appearance.
