Xerographic plate or esp. endless belt consists of a conducting substrate e.g. Ni, a barrier layer with a thickness of 0.5-3.0 mu consisting of a heterophase adhesive, esp. a mixt. of polysulphone and polyurethane, and a photo-conducting layer with a thickness of 10-20 mu esp. a glassy Se-As alloy. Combines good electrical and mechanical props.
