Abstract
The dip tank is divided by a vertical wall into a treatment chamber, and a precipitation chamber. The top edge of the wall is located at such a height, that the fluid may flow over it from the treatment- into the precipitation chamber. The treatment chamber contains an agitator unit. A circulation plant selectively returns fluid with deposited foreign matter from the precipitation- into the treatment chamber, and removes fluid from one or both chambers. An additional unit automatically maintains a predetermined fluid level in the tank. Objects to be treated are raised and lowered within resp. outside the treatment chamber by a lifting device, without touching the agitator. The precipitation chamber contains a vertically movable over flow, dividing it into a depositing chamber, filled with a fluid from the treatment chamber; and an outlet chamber, into which the fluid flows via the overflow.
