Prepns for treatment and control of abnormal cell growth including benign and malignant tumours, and usually taken with a low sugar diet, contain (by pts wt) 6-10 Vit A, 25-40 Vit. E, 0-500 Vit. C, 2-4 riboflavin, 20-30 pantothenic acid or its Ca salt, 20-50 nicotinic acid or amide, 20-30 a pyridoxine deriv, 20-70 ferrous salt, e.g. fumarate, tartrate or lactate. 100-600 citric and/or mandelic acid, opt together with NH4Cl and/or iodine or an iodide, and are pref. in the form of aqs. suspensions of pH 2.5-6 with an added thickener, or in capsules.
